Praising God sounds like a mind-blowing task. And it is. God is so powerful. He’s so beautiful. He’s the source of everything good and wonderful in existence.
But He wants us, His lowly children to praise Him. Isn’t that amazing? God wants to hear from us. It makes sense. When you’re away from those you love, don’t you want to stay in touch?
But how do we praise a holy God?
Without trying to simplify something so…heavy, so important, I’m going to share a chart we used at Ladies Connect Group last night. Feel free to download, share, or even jot it down in a journal.
In journalism, we call it the 4 W’s and 1 H. Except, I’m only going to use 3 of the W’s and 1 H: Why, When, Where, and How.
1. Why do we worship?
2. When do we worship?
3. Where do we worship?
4. How do we worship?
Here are the Bible verses we used to fill in the chart with these 4 Ways to Help us Worship God (and I’m sure you can think of more):
Ephesians 1:3, Ephesians 5:19, Acts 16:25-26, Revelation 5:12, Revelation 19:5-6, Psalm 103:1-5, II Samuel 6:16, Romans 14:11, Hebrews 2:12, Hebrews 13:15, James 5:13

P.S. This was my first time to save a document on WordPress. (Yahoo! I think it worked!!)
Maybe you can use the chart to come up with some more. Let me know if you do!
