We hope that you will join us at our VBS this summer, as we learn that "following Jesus changes the game!"

What to Expect

What to Wear

You Are Among Friends. When you come through our doors, expect to be welcomed! We are glad you chose to visit us and we think you’ll be glad too! You will notice that some people are wearing suits, some slacks and a shirt, and others are wearing jeans. There is no dress code so please come and enjoy quality time with God and our family.

Connect

Please take time to pick up a Connection Card from the Welcome Center. Please fill out a Connection Card and leave it with a Welcome Center volunteer. If you have any questions, please ask a Welcome Center volunteer and they will be happy to help.  We welcome your participation during worship. However if worship is new to you, you will never be called out, asked to stand, or embarrassed. You will never be pressured to do anything if you simply want to observe and learn.

Fellowship

A half hour before worship service starts, at 9:30, we gather to share coffee, donuts, and fellowship at the cafe.

Singing

You will notice that our singing is without instruments, so feel free to join in and sing the songs you know.  We typically sing 4 – 6 songs during worship.

Communion

After a few songs, we have a reading from Scripture and a prayer before we share communion.  We do this every Sunday, as a part of our worship to remember the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus.  We serve an open communion which means that individual bread and grape juice packs are provided (on a table at the entrance) are for all who consider themselves Christians and in fellowship with Jesus to participate.  The bread and juice represent the sacrificed body of our Savior and His blood that was shed for our sins.

Offering

After communion, we offer thanksgiving and info for anyone that feels led to give.  This is done as worship and for the sake of moving the mission of God forward.  As a visitor, you are welcome to participate, but do not feel obligated.

Lesson

Every Sunday morning, we dedicate approximately 25 minutes to embrace a message from God’s Word.  The messages are intended to help us know Jesus and how we can better live for him.

Conclusion

Our service concludes with a challenge, an opportunity for personal transformation, a song, and a prayer.  We hope that you will stick around a few minutes after worship and let us get to know you better.  Our typical worship service lasts around an hour.

Nursery / Nursing Mothers

An attended nursery in available during worship, if your child needs a little more space to move around.  You are welcome to stay with your child if you choose.  The nursing mothers/quite room area is located in the nursery.  Please feel free to use this room if you need a quite space for your baby/toddler to feed or nap during worship or class.  A changing table is available in this room.

Bible classes, aka “Sunday School”

15 minutes after the end of worship service, children, teen, and adult bible classes are held. Any member or volunteer can help point you where classes are located.
