What to Expect

What to Wear

You Are Among Friends. When you come through our doors, expect to be welcomed! We will meet you as you come in, extend a handshake, and answer any immediate questions that you may have. We are glad you chose to visit us and we think you’ll be glad too! You will notice that some people are wearing suits, some slacks and a shirt, and others are wearing jeans. There is no dress code so please come and enjoy quality time with God and our family.

As you enter our building, the Welcome Center is directly on your right. Please take time to pick up a Connection Card from the Welcome Center. Please fill out a Connection Card and leave it with a Welcome Center volunteer. If you have any questions, please ask a Welcome Center volunteer and they will be happy to help.  We welcome your participation during worship. However if worship is new to you, you will never be called out, asked to stand, or embarrassed. You will never be pressured to do anything if you simply want to observe and learn.

You will notice that our singing is without instruments, so feel free to join in and sing the songs you know.  We typically sing 4 – 6 songs during worship.

After a few songs, we have a reading from Scripture and a prayer before we share communion.  We do this every Sunday, as a part of our worship to remember the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus.  We sere an open communion which means that the trays will be passed along the aisles for all who consider themselves Christians and in fellowship with Jesus to participate.  The bread and juice represent the sacrificed body of our Savior and His blood that was shed for our sins.

After communion, we take up an offering.  This is done as worship and for the sake of moving the mission of God forward.  As a visitor, you are welcome to participate, but do not feel obligated.

Every Sunday morning, we dedicate approximately 25 minutes to embrace a message from God’s Word.  The messages are intended to help us know Jesus and how we can better live for him.

Our service concludes with a challenge, an opportunity for personal transformation, a song, and a prayer.  We hope that you will stick around a few minutes after worship and let us get to know you better.  Our typical worship service lasts around an hour.
