"Changing Lives by the Power of Christ"

Coronavirus Response

We are currently open and look forward to seeing you in person on Sunday mornings or via video!

(Message from the the Elders on June 13, 2020)

Dear Church Family,

We are excited to meet together once again beginning June 21.  The Sunday morning service will start at 10:00 a.m.  We have Sunday School for all ages as well as Ladies' (6 p.m.) and Men (7 p.m.) Connect Groups via Zoom on Wednesday nights.

Unfortunately, we will not be able to live stream our Sunday morning service.  The audio-visual equipment we need to live stream is back-ordered and it may be several weeks before it arrives.  The Sunday morning service will be recorded and posted at 11:00 a.m. for those who will worship online.

We ask that you review the Central Valley Reopening Guidelines listed below.

  1. The front door will be propped open if possible and opened for you by gloved greeters.

  2. Please do not gather in the front entrance hallway before or after the service.

  3. We will not be passing communion plates. Communion will be prepackaged. You will be given one as you enter the building.

  4. We will not pass the offering plate. A box will be located in the front entrance hallway where you can give.

  5. You are welcome to wear a mask, gloves or any other measure you deem necessary, This is a judgment free zone.  (If you would like to wear a mask and do not have one, masks are available)

  6. Households should sit together and maintain physical distancing between other family units.

  7. Coffee and doughnuts will be available and served by a gloved attendant.  There will be no self-service.

  8. We encourage you to refrain from handshakes and hugs; show your love and be creative.

  9. Upon the conclusion of the service, we request that you observe physical distancing guidelines.

We want to stress that no one should feel obligated to physically attend services. We respect and support either a decision to join us online or in person.

    • If you have been sick, running a fever, or in contact with someone who has been sick, we urge you to stay home and participate online.

    • If you are in a group considered to be high risk, or of compromised health, we also urge you to use wise judgment and participate at home.

    • If you simply feel more comfortable worshipping via online, we again support that decision and encourage you to continue to do so.

Please let us know if you have any concerns, questions, or needs.

Darian, Mike, Garner

We encourage you to continue our Connect Group Discovery Bible Study (DBS) with your families, over Skype or FaceTime friends, etc.  God has blessed us with the technology to stay connected.  This does not exclude worship and Bible study.  The new scripture will update each Thursday in the grey box on the right side of the Connect Group webpage. The following link provides the DBS study questions and the scripture for the upcoming week.      Connect Group DBS
