Young Adult Ministry Leaders – Garrett and Mallory Lloyd
College Ministry Leader – Taylor Konig
The Young Adult Ministry is a special group at Central Valley. It’s a group of like-minded believers trying to navigate what some call the “toughest spot” in life.
You might ask yourself, “What is a ‘young adult’?”
Some of us have packed up and moved to start college. With that comes new freedoms, new adventures, and new surroundings. At this point you are surrounded by things that are new and exciting but trying to figure out the next step, and what is going to get you there.
For some, it’s working those forty-hour weeks and balancing deeper relationships than you’ve previously had. Some of us had to move in order to take that job that is going to launch a successful career path. With that comes even more responsibility and more excitement than before.
Your late teens, twenties, and early thirties has the potential to be some of your best years! Many new opportunities are rising up and excitement seems to be around ever corner. At the same time, it can be hard trying to navigate all these new experiences and confusion has a great opportunity to creep in.
The Young Adult Ministry was formed simply to grow with, encourage, and walk alongside others during the greatest years of your life. Our goal is to connect with other young adults, in order to form those relationships to help each other grow deeper in both love and in Christ!
Below you will find our upcoming events, announcements, and other news! Please check out what we have coming up and make plans to join us!
Current Sunday Morning Class: Joining the Adult Bible Class in the Worship Area
One of the greatest parts of our Young Adult ministry is the love and support that we get from our entire church family. House Church is a monthly reminder of that. Each month (usually the second Sunday of each month), a CV family hosts the YA group for dinner and a time to hang out and get to know each other better. This is a tradition that started earlier in the year and continues to be an incredible blessing for both the families and the YA’s.
Date of Next House Church: TBA due to the Coronavirus threat
